Leanne Sayles

Specialist/ Lab Manager

Leanne grew up in Alberta, Canada. Tired of the long, cold winters and brutal snow, she migrated to sunny California in 2005 to join the Sweet-Cordero lab. Leanne's primary research focus is to identify new treatments for osteosarcoma. She has developed many PDX and PDX-derived cell lines and used them to uncover a dependency of DNA damage response pathway when combined with gemcitabine in osteosarcoma. Her favorite things include spending time in nature with family and friends and enjoying a good glass of wine.
